Our company has collected oceanographic data using various measurement devices for more than 30 years. Thus, we have created a dynamic database where we store, maintain, and analyze archived data, while also updating new incoming data in real-time. This allows us to look at the most current and updated data in our possession and combine it with complex analysis and conclusions learned from the past!
CAMERI has seven Acoustic Doppler Current Devices (ADCP), three each in Haifa and Ashdod, and one in Hadera. The ADCPs measure the current at different heights in the water column.
Our wave buoys, installed in Haifa, Ashdod, and Eilat, provide continuous real-time data including wave height and period, sea surface temperature, and more. The buoy in Eilat is also equipped with an acoustic current meter (ACM) that provides current measurements, including speed and direction, up to one meter in depth below the buoy.
We possess two wind measurement devices – one in Haifa and one in Ashdod. They measure at 47m and 15m respectively, in a frequency of less than 5 seconds. The measurement includes winds speed and direction.
